For one room

A single indoor unit paired to a single outdoor unit. The usual answer for a bedroom, a living room, an office or a shed.

Full range

Daikin Split Systems

The whole wall mounted and floor standing line-up, from Zena and Alira X through to Cora, XL and XL Premium. Select models carry Daikin Streamer technology, which breaks down odours and allergens rather than only trapping them. Which one suits comes down to the room, and that is what the site visit is for.

Heating and cooling

Lite Reverse Cycle Split

Heating and cooling out of the one compact matte white unit, in sizes from 2.0kW to 7.1kW. Quiet mode drops the indoor unit to 19dBA on the 2.0, 2.5 and 3.5kW models, which is why it ends up in a lot of bedrooms.

Cooling only

Lite Cooling Only Split

The same Lite cabinet without the heating side, 2.0kW to 7.1kW. Worth pricing if the room already has heating you are happy with, or for a shed or office that only needs to get through summer.

For two or more rooms

One outdoor unit feeding several indoor units, each set to its own temperature. Less hardware on the wall outside, which matters on a tight block.

Cover of the Daikin Multi Lite brochure

Two rooms

Multi Lite

Two wall mounted indoor units running off a single outdoor unit, in combinations up to 25 plus 50 class. Each room gets its own temperature and timer, though both run in the same mode, heating or cooling, at any one time.

Cover of the Daikin Super Multi NX brochure

Up to five rooms

Super Multi NX

Up to five indoor units on one outdoor unit, with heads from 2.0kW to 9.5kW. You can mix wall mounted, ducted and ceiling cassette units across the house and control each room separately. A sensible answer for a renovation where running full ducting is not realistic.

For the whole house

One system doing the lot, zoned so you are not paying to condition rooms nobody is in.

Cover of the Daikin Ducted Systems brochure

Ducted

Ducted Systems

The indoor unit sits out of sight in the roof and all you see inside are the grilles and the controller. Up to eight zones off the one system. Daikin builds its ducted indoor units in Australia, and the duct insulation matters as much as the unit: an Echuca roof cavity can pass 80 degrees in summer, and poorly insulated duct throws away up to 30 per cent of the capacity you paid for.

Cover of the Daikin Altherma Mono-Bloc brochure

Hydronic

Altherma Mono-Bloc

Hydronic heating and cooling. An air to water heat pump warms water and circulates it through underfloor loops, radiators or fan coils, so the heat is even and there is no draught and no dry air. Roughly one kilowatt of electricity in returns more than four kilowatts of heat, with no gas connection and no flame.

For the air itself

Temperature is only half of it. Hay fever season on the river flats is the other half.

Cover of the Daikin Daikin Air Purifiers brochure

Air quality

Daikin Air Purifiers

A standalone unit combining an electrostatic HEPA filter with Daikin Streamer technology, approved under the National Asthma Council Australia Sensitive Choice program. Daikin testing puts it at more than 99.3 per cent of airborne Influenza A removed in as little as 30 minutes.

Why Daikin

Comfort that lasts, and costs less to run

Daikin has spent over 90 years on one thing, and it shows in the detail: compressors that hold a temperature instead of chasing it, refrigerant that does more on less power, and a five year warranty behind the lot. It is the brand Australians keep voting the most trusted in air conditioning.

R32 refrigerant

Used across the current Daikin range. Around 66 per cent lower global warming potential factor than the older R410A, and it carries heat more efficiently, so the same comfort takes less power.

Inverter compressors

The compressor ramps up and down like an accelerator instead of switching hard on and off. The room holds its temperature instead of swinging past it, and the running cost drops with it.

Streamer technology

In the air purifiers and select split systems. A plasma discharge breaks down odours, mould, pollen and dust mite allergens rather than only catching them in a filter.

Seasonal performance, not just stars

Australia is split into hot, average and cold climate zones and a unit performs differently in each. We read the seasonal ratings for the zone you are actually in before we recommend a model.

Five year parts and labour

Daikin backs split, multi split and ducted systems installed in Australian homes for five years. We are the Specialist Dealer here, so if something needs attention it stays in town.

How it works

From the first phone call to the handover

  1. We come and look at it

Room sizes, ceiling height, insulation, which way the glass faces and what is already installed. Sizing a system off a floor plan is how people end up with a unit that never catches up in February.

  2. You get a written quote

Free, no obligation, and it names the model and spells out what the installation covers. If a Victorian Energy Upgrades rebate applies to your property, it is shown on the quote before you decide anything.

  3. Our own crew installs it

Licensed electricians with refrigerant handling tickets, Victorian and New South Wales electrical licences and a current working with children check. No subcontractor you have never met.

  4. We test it and hand it over

The system is commissioned and tested before we leave, and someone walks you through the controller properly rather than leaving the manual on the bench. Same phone number when it needs a service or a repair years down the track.

Where we install: Echuca, Moama, Rochester, Kyabram, Lockington, Cohuna, Gunbower, Deniliquin and the districts around them, both sides of the river.

Victorian Energy Upgrades

Government rebates on a new system

The Victorian Energy Upgrades program cuts the cost of swapping an old, inefficient system for an efficient one. We can check what your property qualifies for before you commit to anything.

Reverse cycle air conditioning
Replacing an old or inefficient split system or ducted unit with a high-efficiency reverse cycle system.
Heating and cooling replacement
Moving off ducted gas or an ageing unit onto something that costs less to run. Ask us to look at what you have now.

The program is a Victorian Government scheme, so it applies to Victorian properties only. If you are in Moama or elsewhere in NSW you are not eligible, but we can still quote the job.

Daikin questions

It comes down to how many rooms you want conditioned and what access there is above the ceiling. One room is a split system. Two to five rooms without full ducting is a Multi Lite or a Super Multi NX, which run several indoor units off one outdoor unit. A whole house with roof space is usually ducted, zoned so you only run the parts of the house you are in. We work it out on site rather than over the phone.

That depends on room size, ceiling height, insulation, which way the windows face and how much glass there is. Sizing off a floor plan alone is how people end up with a unit that either never catches up in February or short cycles all winter. We measure it before we quote it.

If the property is in Victoria, the Victorian Energy Upgrades program can bring down the cost of an eligible reverse cycle system or a heating and cooling replacement, and the discount comes off your invoice rather than being claimed later. The program is Victorian only, so Moama and other New South Wales properties are not eligible. We can still quote the job either way.

Daikin backs split, multi split and ducted air conditioners installed in Australian homes with a five year parts and labour warranty. Because we are the Daikin Specialist Dealer in Echuca for both sales and service, warranty work stays in town rather than waiting on someone from out of the district.

Both. We hold a refrigerant handling licence and we service and repair what we install, as well as systems put in by someone else. A filter clean and a check over before summer is the cheapest service call you will ever make.

Yes. We hold both Victorian and New South Wales electrical licences, so Moama, Deniliquin and the surrounding New South Wales districts are all part of the normal run.

R32 is the refrigerant Daikin uses through its current range. It carries a global warming potential factor around 66 per cent lower than the older R410A and it transfers heat more efficiently, so the system does the same work on less power.
